Al-Rahmat (Mercy for Humanity) International Trust is a registered UK charity that was established in response to the catastrophic earthquake that struck the Kashmir region on October 8, 2005, claiming the lives of over 80,000 people and leaving countless others injured and homeless. Our hearts were deeply moved by the suffering of the people affected by this tragedy, and we were determined to make a difference in their lives.
Our mission is to serve and empower humanity, with a strong focus on improving the lives and putting a smile on 10 million children by providing them with access to clean water, education, and healthcare, particularly in the State of Jumma and Kashmir, Pakistan, Afghanistan, India, Türkiye, Syria, England, and Wales. We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive and reach their full potential, regardless of their circumstances.
At Al-Rahmat, we are committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve. We are a non-political, non-profit, and community-oriented organization that is driven by a deep sense of trust, transparency, compassion and a desire to alleviate suffering wherever it exists. We are dedicated to sponsoring the education of orphaned children and financing clean water and healthcare projects for those in need.
Our goal is to raise funds and offer assistance to those who need it most, and we do so with a passion for improving the well-being of humanity. Our focus on clean water, education, and healthcare for all is rooted in our commitment to empowering, serving, and collaborating with love and professionalism. We are honored to work towards a better world for all, and we are grateful for the support and dedication of our donors, trustees, and committee members in achieving this mission.
